What is Alexa rank?
Ranking system provided by Alexa the Web Information Company is know as Alexa Ranking. Its just a ranking system like Google pagerank but google provides pagerank out 10 and Alexa shows true ranking with unique number.
Alexa ranking provides two type of ranking: Global ranking and Local ranking. |

Alexa rank is a ranking system by Alexa company that is measured using the Alexa toolbar. The algorithm according to which Alexa traffic ranking is calculated is based on the amount of traffic recorded from users that have the Alexa toolbar installed over a period of three months. Most of people consider it valuable for direct advertising.

The traffic rank is based on three months of aggregated historical traffic data from millions of Alexa Toolbar users and data obtained from other, diverse traffic data sources, and is a combined measure of page views and users.

What is Alexa rank?
Alexa rank shows that in which number your website rank in google out of all websites, for example if your alexa rank is 1000 its mean your site is on 1000 number in all over the world according to google, and it is all about traffic, means if you have good figure of traffic on your website then your alexa rank will be low..

This traffic is based on such parameters as reach and page views. The reach refers to the number of Alexa users who visit a particular site in one day. Page view, as its name shows, is the number of times a particular page (URL) is viewed by Alexa users.
