Why my post didn't go viral on social media? - Site Owners Forums

Hello, folks!

I've created a post a month ago. I did a lot of research and cited a lot of sources. I even promoted the hell out of it. But, despite all my efforts the post didn't go viral.

On average, my posts get between 200 and 500 shares and 10 to 30 comments, so I think is weird, doesn't it?

I think you should try curating the post content and re-sharing it. Give an attractive title to the post as well as include some quote. It may help you.

What Makes Online Content Go Viral?
1. Positive content is more viral than negative content.
2. Content that evoked high arousal emotions—positive or negative—is more viral than content without emotion.
3. Practically useful content get’s shared.

Maybe, you missed one of those factors that makes content go viral.
