Why my post didn't go viral on social media?
Hello, folks!
I've created a post a month ago. I did a lot of research and cited a lot of sources. I even promoted the hell out of it. But, despite all my efforts the post didn't go viral. On average, my posts get between 200 and 500 shares and 10 to 30 comments, so I think is weird, doesn't it? |
I think you should try curating the post content and re-sharing it. Give an attractive title to the post as well as include some quote. It may help you.

Format your post beautifully.

Social media has become the pillar of the online experience. With over 1.55 billion monthly active users, hundreds of millions of people are interacting and engaging on Facebook. For Facebook advertisers, this represents a huge pool of potential customers. Read our report to understand current Facebook trends based on the Marin Global Online Advertising Index.
Get the report today. “Going viral” is now a common expression we all know. When content spreads quickly and gets a lot of views, it is a piece that has a noticeable impact the social media world. It is certainly not an isolated event, which leads me to ask: How do social posts go viral? The good news is that since many pieces of social media content have gone viral, we can point to some of the factors that allow it to take place. By creating viral content comes with numerous benefits, starting with improved visibility, referrals, ultimately more traffic, and hopefully (if you’re setting up your website right), more conversions. |
One feature almost all viral posts share is the ability to provoke and capture people’s emotions. Humans by nature are emotional and when our emotions become highly aroused, we want to share that item with others. Entrepreneur recently discussed a study conducted by The University of Pennsylvania. The researchers discussed features that make some content go viral faster than others.
