If you put your domain name or url in the search bar and get no result of your site that means your site is banned or removed from google data base. It happens due to several reasons such as manual penalty, your server is blacklisted etc etc.

In other case if google update its algorithm and your site lose its ranking on SERP during that time period that means your site got penalty. You could get message in your webmaster account.
