I am not sure if you mean the rankings or the value that a green bar indicates, which is usually referred to as PageRank. Well, if PR is what you were asking for, it normally updates in every quarter. If it is the rankings, you mean, if you continue to build quality links to your website, then a month of religiously doing it will surely keep your website high in the ranks.
