People are split on whether or not to use link bait. Yes, link bait can be highly successful if you put in the requisite work, and you can get higher rankings as a result. The information has to be well researched and unique.

I pretty much agree with that. Link-baiting is something that's highly recommended by Google because those links tend to be high-quality. The key is to have well written and well research content that will naturally generate links.

Link Baiting is a new term of SEO work in which you create natural link building.

Tips for link baiting:-

Write an interesting article.
Make an interesting picture.
Give something valuable for free.
Make a tool that others can put on their sites but that links to you.
Write some funny humor.

Of course, link bait is white hat method of link building and we should use it for effective link building and it is required today.
