I think article submission, bookmarking, forum posting, directory submission, CSS submission, PDF submission, Video submission, blog commenting and posting are good techniques. This all are very effective techniques in SEO, but how to get quality afford it�s totally depend on your quality submission.

To get organic traffic it is very important to have organic submissions. Now a days google is very strict about fake and access back links.
