Link Farms
Link farms are tightly-knit communities of pages referencing each other, also known facetiously as mutual admiration societies. The goal of link farming is to increase the number of websites linking back to a specific site.

A set of many outbound links created for the purpose to rise other websites ranking is known as Link farms.

Link farms are the sites which are created to give more outbound links to other websites. It is purposefully sending out more outbound links. It is not better idea to get backlink from such site as that may do harm for the site rank.

Generally, backlinks from link farm sites are low value and does not rank well in search results.

the idea behind link farming is to increase the no. of sites that link to your because search engine such as google rank sites according to ,among other things ,the quality and quantity of your sites that link to yours .
