Page rank is not much important if you have quality traffic and have got search rank for your keywords and you are getting your customers..

Page rank show popularity of your site. And search engines count popularity by counting number of quality backlinks means back links from theme related reputed sites. If you have good number of quality backlinks then your PR will be good.
