Adding a URL to Google involves submitting it to Google for indexing. Here's how you can do it:
Google Search Console: If you haven't already, sign up for Google Search Console (formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools) and verify ownership of your website. This is a free tool provided by Google that allows you to monitor and manage your website's presence in Google Search. Once verified, log in to Google Search Console. In the left-hand menu, select "URL Inspection." Enter the URL you want to add to Google in the search bar at the top of the page and press "Enter" or click on "Test live URL." If the URL is not already indexed, you'll see a message indicating that the URL is not on Google. Click on "Request indexing" to submit the URL to Google for indexing. Google Search: Alternatively, you can use the "Submit URL to Google" tool. Simply go to the following URL: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url Enter the URL you want to add to Google in the text box provided. Complete the CAPTCHA verification. Click on "Submit Request." Sitemap Submission: If you have multiple URLs or want to ensure that all pages of your website are indexed, you can create a sitemap.xml file that lists all the URLs on your site. You can then submit this sitemap to Google Search Console. To submit a sitemap, go to Google Search Console, select your property, and navigate to "Sitemaps" under the "Index" section. Click on "Add/Test Sitemap" and enter the URL of your sitemap.xml file. Click on "Submit" to add your sitemap to Google. After submitting a URL or sitemap to Google, it may take some time for Google to crawl and index the content. You can monitor the indexing status and performance of your website using Google Search Console. |

To add a URL (webpage) to Google and ensure that it gets indexed, follow these steps:
1. Submit Your Website to Google Search Console: Sign up for Google Search Console: If you haven't already, create an account on Google Search Console. Add Your Website: In Search Console, click on "Add Property" and enter your website URL. You'll need to verify that you own the website by following the provided instructions (e.g., HTML tag, DNS record, or Google Analytics). 2. Submit a Sitemap: Create a Sitemap: A sitemap is an XML file that lists all the important pages of your site. If you’re using WordPress or another CMS, you can use plugins like Yoast SEO or Google XML Sitemaps to generate one automatically. Submit the Sitemap: Once your sitemap is ready, go to Search Console > Sitemaps, and enter the URL of your sitemap (e.g., https://www.example.com/sitemap.xml). Google Will Crawl Your Site: By submitting the sitemap, Google will start crawling and indexing the URLs listed in it. 3. Manually Request URL Indexing: Use the URL Inspection Tool: If you want to submit a specific page rather than the whole site: Go to Google Search Console and navigate to URL Inspection Tool. Enter the URL you want to add or update in Google. Click Request Indexing if the URL isn’t indexed or you want to update Google’s current version. Note: Google will typically index new pages automatically once you submit a sitemap or request indexing, but it can take some time (anywhere from a few days to a few weeks) for Google to crawl and index your URL. 4. Promote Your URL (Optional): Link Building: Google’s crawlers often find new pages by following links from other websites. Having quality backlinks to your URL can speed up the process. Social Media: Sharing your URL on social media platforms can increase the chances of it being discovered by Google's crawlers. 5. Ensure Your URL Is Crawlable: Make sure your URL is not blocked by a robots.txt file or noindex meta tag. If a page is blocked, Google will not index it. Check for crawl errors in Search Console under Coverage. 6. Monitor Progress: Once you've submitted the URL or sitemap, you can check the Coverage Report in Google Search Console to see if your URL has been indexed. |

First of all add your website to Google and sign in into your Google Search Console. For the entire site, upload the XML sitemap of your website to submit to Google, or use it in "URL Inspection" report if you wish to submit a single page or URL.
