Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page. It can be reduced by:

Good content update
Internal links
Easy navigation
Quick loading of webpage

A bounce rate in the range of 26 to 40 percent is excellent. 41 to 55 percent is roughly average. 56 to 70 percent is higher than average, but may not be cause for alarm depending on the website. Anything over 70 percent is disappointing for everything outside of blogs, news, events, etc.

As of my knowledge bounce rate should be between 30 to 50 percent. It totally depends on your website content and internal linking structure.

Bounce rate is calculated by the total number of a website or page visits divided by the total number of entries to a website. A good bounce rate of between 26 and 40 percent is excellent. About 41 percent to 55 percent average. 56 to 70 percent is more than average.

The bounce rate is defined as the percentage of visitors who visit a single page when they visit your site. It is primarily an indicator of site quality that is useful for measuring visitor satisfaction.

Bounce rate is metric used to define how many visitors visited in our websites and bounce back after time spent on website. Bounce rate will be increased if user visitor our website and not found any information
