Using large images as it affects the user experience and image SEO, and it will cause Google to penalize your website ranking. Let's face it, your users will get frustrated if pages on your site take too long to load.

Yes, it do impact on SEO. Google spider cannot crawl image so it need to have Alt tag and title tag from search engine and users point of view respectively. Alt Tag will help in on page optimization and keyword ranking. Images should not be too large otherwise it can affect to load your website. It can also cause google to penalize your wesite ranking.

Image optimization is about reducing the file size of your images as much as possible without sacrificing quality so that your page load times remain low.


It's also about image SEO. That is, getting your product images and decorative images to rank on Google and other image search engines.

Yes, definitely because google can't able to crawl the images so we are using the alt tag.
