Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is the best for software for logo design. For the victor logo design Adobe illustrator is the best.

go to downloadDOTcom and download logomaker which is nocost through which you can make professional logo without any cost also you can se pixlr or picmonkey to design your very own logo style

We use GIMP. It's easy to learn and you can create nice logo design with this opensource tool.

For making a logo you should use vector graphics.
I use Adobe Illustrator, it's a bit difficult learn how to use it (Adobe is always complicated) but it's full of useful tools. |

The Number # 1 is Adobe Illustrator. It is the boss of Logo making. Just learn it...because it worths.
