Hello,

Today I got passed over for promotion at work. The boss says he hasn't seen initiative in me yet. I'm new here, but much more experienced in the industry. I do great things in the background, whereas the other guy chats with the boss all day. They talk non-work things all day. Boss has a set of favorite folks, and I ain't in that group. There's some resentment among other colleagues due to this favoritism. The question am grappling with is how do I make my special skills known to the boss, when he seemingly has blinders on. Anyway, in the spirit of gratefulness, I need to find a few silver linings:
1. It made me cry, that must be therapeutic. I am grateful I can still cry
2. It allows me to look for a new job. I no longer feel obligated tied here
3. I have my wife to talk to, and a couple of online groups
4. I can still eat, play and sleep as usual

Any Law of Attraction followers/practitioners here?

Please help.
