How important is a high page speed score?
I have read that a low page speed score can trigger a Google penalty. Is this something I should be working on to improve?

Yes High Page speed is an important factor to consider while doing seo. Faster the page speed better the performance of your website in search engines .

It's the signs of bad website structure and non seo-friendly. Use less images, upgrade web hosting and make more improvements for your website structure.
