what is anchor text, its related to SEO or not, and what it's use? please help me to know that. so share your feedback about it.

Anchor text is related to seo, when u are submitting your website in social bookmarking sites then you need to enter keywords, and that websites give you link back to your site. That keyword or word is anchor text.

Anchor text is the Visible text which has the hyperlink/link to a website embedded in it. It plays a main role in link building/keyword optimization. Lets say you want your site to be listed in the top position for a particular keyword, then do ON page optimization of the website/page for that particular keyword and use the same while building backlinks to the site. This will add a weightage to the keyword for that page.
