I is true. If you own a business website and have not much time to gain organic traffic to your website, you must go for PPC. PPC can bring immediate traffic to a website and the conversion rate is also good.

I have found that I get a better response using Facebook Pay for impressions than PPC. It's also cheaper. I have a fairly new site
that I am using Facebook advertising for.

It's been running now for a couple of months. I have about 153 people who like. I get their email addresses, and every time I post it goes on their wall. Total cost less than $50. When they click it goes to my website, and I guess I've paid about $.27 per person.

Google pay per click would be more expensive.

PPC is the full form of pay per click. PPC is best for small enterprises that not afford advertising pay of celebrity to improving own business.

I am on paying $.03 per thousand impressions on facebook. my average is $21 per month, which is where I get the $.27 per click. The Google price would put me at $.96 per click. If I use adwords, I would not get email addresses or the spread by my fans sharing my posts.

I don't knock using PPC if you are targeting local traffic, but Facebook is much cheaper with more opt-ins if you are looking for more general traffic.
