A special HTML <META> tag to tell robots not to index the content of a page, and/or not scan it for links to follow.
For example: <html> <head> <title>...</title> <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"> </head>

It has two setting INDEX, FOLLOW and NO-INDEX, NO-FOLLOW. 1st one allows crawlers to visit whole the web page and if you put second one setting on any of the page then it will restrict to crawl it.
