I am not used to Google and the way it works. Previously, I liked this search engine but, now I lost all faith and respect. I really worked hard to bring my own site to the top position on Google. All my hard works have not been paid and I am not at all lucky regarding this. I am unsuccessful in a horrible way whenever I try my luck in new SEO. I got about 30 incoming links recently. I found that maximum of them are from the blogs and the forum which are not all related to my domain. I am no more interested in it any more. I do not feel like optimizing my site anymore.

idk why you are saying these you have your own problems but if your website doesn't having good ranking on Google so there must be your fault may be you Don't have good quality back links and content on your website or may be your optimization method goes wrong. you need to check your website again there must be your fault..

Google what can do here,if you are not able to optimize your website.So just read more on SEO so that you can optimize your website or you can hire some one who can perform quality SEO work for your website.

That is may be because you've not approached the seo process in a right way. why don't you try once again with the tips which was available in this forum or any seo article websites.

Its hard to work on Google but Google is the more frequently using search engine in world.
