switching to a different content management system
If you are switching to a different content management system (CMS) it often means that the URLs from your current site will have to change to something that fits with the new system. It's likely that the new URL naming convention will not match your old one. How do you usually cope with this kind of thing?
Thanks for any way/

Regarding SEO, I can say that a person who is planning to do this must first think of whether his site is a big one containing too many pages of data.
If yes, then he should get prepared to reindex his site in all the search engines. If his site contains only a bunch of pages, say 20-30, then for a programmer it's no big deal to match new URLs with the older URLs In some cases though, there may be a better URL rewriting in one CMS than the other. |
