If you have a quality site that you will be dedicating time towards, look into White Hat SEO plans. Black Hat is frowned upon and will only work for a limited amount of time. It could also cripple your pagerank and validity towards incoming traffic if it's spammy. Be fair and use White Hat SEO, especially if you have long term goals

I have seen sites still practice keyword stuffing and they make it high in the ranks for a few days. Then they get buried. i had a keyword stuffer show up on Page 1 of Google at the bottom of a Attorney keyword site I was working on. Several days later I looked for it again and it was pushed back 38 pages. So I have seen the wrath of Google with my own eyes. lol

Doing Black hat is not safe. Yes, it looks like we following Google guidelines. Since doing black hat may bring Good result for you, Sometimes it may fall or penalized by SE. To be safer side, White hat is best ever.

1. Hidden content 2. Meta Keyword Stuffing 3. Meta Keywords 4. Doorway or Gateway Pages 5. Link Farming
