I will suggest you to don't worry about it. It has nothing to do in rankings. So, focus on something else that can improve your site rankings, rather than alexa rank.

Try to use some tricks to get the traffic from alexa toolbar. i have a trick so pm i will share with you.

And ask from your friends to get the reviews on alexa for your site, it will aslo help you !!

Increasing the number of visitors in your webpage will definitely increase the ranking of your site in terms of Alexa, although I did not consider all the rankings at par with Alexa. But the ranking in a Google page will definitely enhance your rankings to others.

you need to increase traffic for your website. So you should do SEO and SMO that will help to increase traffic on your website. Once you will start to get more traffic then alexa will go well.

I think if your try hard to get some good links fron high PR websites,it would favor you to get higher rank in alexa.This will also create your links in top websites of alexa automatically.
