Google Sandbox reality

I feel a real shame about the confusion around the web for what the term "sand box" means. Google, of course, will not admit to it and I do not blame them. But there are many different definitions of what defines a site for sandboxed. I believe we, at Search Engine Roundtable, the first information site (outside the forum) openly acknowledge the existence of some issues with Google and the new site. Post the first we have named the new site = Poor Results in Google, which earlier has a name. What you think about the Google Sandbox?
