Estimated Keyword Searches and Web Traffic for that Keyword - Site Owners Forums

Suppose we target a Keyword, for a website, which have monthly searches lets say 22,200 per month. After this we start link building and other SEO work on that particular Keyword and after some time we began to rank in Google top ten for that keyword.

Now will that website going to get 700 visitors per day and monthly 22,200 or not???

What are you thoughts on this? Do let me know...

Not nessary the whole 22k traffic but it will be distributed across. And for popular keywords, it most likely will increase more and more.
