Google Analytics & Yahoo Drop
I have an e-commerce site and installed Google Analytics Nov 17.
My site has been number 3 to 6 on Yahoo for quite some time. Today, Dec 9, my home page does not appear at all in Yahoo, and dropped overnight from # 9 to #33 in MSN. No position change in Google. I keep a careful log of changes to my web site, and no other changes have been made recently. I do not use any "black-hat" SEO tricks. I notice when I enter a URL for a site using Google Analytics, the lower left of my browser (FireFox) says : Looking up Google-Analytics. Could Yahoo see this as a redirect and therefore ban my site? Please post how your site is doing in Yahoo since installing Google Analytics. Please - Analytic users only - all else is speculation. |

Google Analytics & Yahoo Drop
the Standard level of protection allows them in Regular windows and blocks them in Private windows.
You can switch to Strict or Custom protection to apply blocking in regular windows, too. |

Looking for a Google Analytics alternative? ... helps in tracking redirects from search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, Yandex, and more.
