Different Hosts Affecting Rankings?
a question i've pondered for a while now has to do with different hosts affecting your SERPs.
i know that domains have different popularity levels, and certain domains are goldmines, but what about hosts? the patent mentions that information such as contact info, nameservers & ip addresses are stored and used to determine if a site is legitimate (or 'predict the legitimacy'). has anyone noticed that after switching hosts, your sites boosted (or dropped) significantly in the rankings? i've been using the same reseller for a while now, and wonder if i could have better success with another hosting plan. |
