Bounce Rate effectiveness

Hello All,

Can anyone explain me on the point, What would be the reason if a website suddenly gets an increased level of bounce rate?

It’s possible you could be doing everything perfect on your end to achieve a normal or low bounce rate from organic search results, and still have a high bounce rate from your referral traffic. The referring site could be sending you unqualified visitors or the anchor text and context for the link could be misleading.

As a rule of thumb, a bounce rate in the range of 26 to 40 percent is excellent. 41 to 55 percent is roughly average. 56 to 70 percent is higher than average, but may not be cause for alarm depending on the website. Anything over 70 percent is disappointing for everything outside of blogs, news, events, etc.

I see Bounce rate as a measure of effectiveness of marketing campaigns (or sources of traffic) and not necessarily the page itself.

Before we can fix our bounce rate, we have to fully understand what bounce rate is. Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors who come to your website and leave without viewing any other pages on your website. If you look into your Google Analytics, you will see a percentage.

Bob rate is the level of guests to a given site that leave the site in the wake of review just a solitary page. Utilized as a part of Web investigation, frequently for CRM examination, this metric enables the site proprietor to evaluate the adequacy of the substance.

Bounce rate is a measure of the effectiveness of a website in encouraging visitors to continue with their visit.
