Keyword Difficulty is a score that tells you how difficult it would be to rank for a keyword based upon how many sites compete for it, their authoriy, backlink profile and thousand-and-one other secret ingredients.

If lower the better! Only paid tools like moz, semrush, longtailpro etc. provide KD score.
