How to Setup Facebook Video Calling/Chat

You will be asked to complete the setup the first time you try to call a friend, or the first time a friend tries to call you. To call a friend, click the video icon at the top of your chat window. Simply click the “Set Up” button and follow the instructions for how to set up video calling on your browser.

I guess if use Google chrome you don't need to setup or does you need to ?

Video chats on Facebook are really very convenient. This feature was especially useful for me during a lockdown, when I didn't have the opportunity to meet with friends and I felt very lonely. Such video conferences with friends helped me feel like a part of society again, despite the poor quality of the Internet connection in rainy weather or technical problems with the equipment for video calls (headphones or microphone). I figured out a way to troubleshoot these issues even before the video meeting started, using a simple online tool that test webcam and I can check how it works before I start chatting with friends.
