URL masking is a technique to hide the destination URL from the visitor. This is also known as Stealth Redirection and URL Hiding.

URL masking or Domain masking both are type of cloaking which is considered as spam or a part of black hat seo.

When user visit on your website and navigate to your internal page or other landing page, the url remains same in the browser as it was in the beginning when you had visited. It ensure that your visitors will see the same domain in the browser either they navigate in your website or not.
