It is one of the sitemap to the websites for getting the traffic by adding the videos. We have to integrate this sitemap in the webmaster tools to know the results.

In video sitemap you can add all your unique video URL's which are located in website that helps to Google to crawl and shows in search results.

Site map is submitted in Webmaster tools for the Website but for the Video i don't know exactly how to submit that.
