Can I do the 'Advanced Open Water' diving course?
I have a Padi Scuba diving license, I am about 2 skills away from getting the Open water Qualification. (I had equalising problems and didn't complete the Open water qualification I originally paid for)
Is this ^ (Scuba Diver License) considered an Open Water Referral qualification. If It is does this mean I can advance onto the Advanced Open Water? Am I able to take an Advanced Open Water course? i.e. Do I have to pay for an Open Water qualification before I can get the Advanced Open water? You need to have completed the PADI's Open Water Diver course (or equivalent by other agency) in order to enroll in the Advanced Open Water course.
The open water referral just means you completed your pool and classroom with one instructor and the open water check-out dives with another instructor. Either way, both result in the Open Water Diver certification. PADI IDC Gili Islands Last edited by padiidcgiliI; 01-16-2016 at 01:04 AM.. |
