Go to a few hosting review sites and read what people have said, there is a high chance that a host has written positive things about himself so you are looking for negative reviews because those will tell you the truth.

You must select one which you can rely upon since consistently switching and changing is not recommended. I will suggest you Serveria, it is a type of hosting provider which you can go with comfort. I have been using their Dedicated Servers from past few years at very competitive price with absolutely no downtime, daily backup, 100% managed and 14 days money back guarantee is also available, so easily the best!

First of all you need to decide where you will be switching?
If you are looking shared hosting I would recommend you have a look at: webhostingzone.org
If you need to have VPS have a look at giga-rdp.in .

If you are in search of reliable hosting provider you should go with ViUX.com. You will get low-cost plans, high stability of servers and helpful support staff.

There are few steps which we should follow on moving from one to another web hosting:
Evaluate your Site
Confirming Domain Ownership
Purchase a new web host
Back up your sites to the new web host
Test and Confirm
Switch Website DNS Records
Uploading Your Site's Back Up
Wait for the DNS change to propagate through the net
