Page rank can be increased by good content and building backlinks from external domains. But today page rank is of no use as Google has stopped updating their page rank algorithm since the past couple of years.

Now google not update the Page Rank. Now Consider only Domain Authority. It's same like Page Rank.

I am not answering anything different than what others have answered. Only thing I want to reiterate is that you need to focus on the day-to-day SEO and SM activity and moreover focus on producing quality content on a regular basis.

Remember - SEO is a process and results can never be achieved overnight so just keep doing your stuff and very soon you will be rewarded with better standing sin SERPs.

You need to do promote your website with quality backlinks from this steps you will get good backlinks and when Google will update their page rank then I hope your page rank will increase.
