Do Index.html extension to pages help in gaining Rankings?
Hi! I have a query regarding urls and its extensions.
1) Will examplesite.com/index.html rank higher than examplesite.com/ page. I was told by a SEO that urls ending index.html get a preference in rankings that the other ones. Not only for home pages but inner pages as well. e.g examplesite.com/search-engine-optimization/index.html ranks higher over examplesite.com/search-engine-optimization Mobile App Developer usa | Game Developer usa | Mobile Application Development Firm |
