I would like to use 2 regularly for a normal post. I mean I usually embed 2 links in around 500 words article.

You can place 2 anchor link with different URL in a single article. If you place more than 2 link or same link 2 time then it would count in spamming.

In my opinion If your article length minimum 400 words, then you can put 2 links in article.
