Cloaking is a search engine optimization (SEO) technique in which the content presented to the search engine spider is different from that presented to the user's browser.
Using this will get hit by Google penguin penalty

Cloaking is a SEO technique in which the substance displayed to the internet searcher creepy crawly is not the same as that presented to the client's browser. This is carried out by conveying substance based on IP addresses or User-Agent HTTP header of the client asking for the page .

Cloaking is an unethical black hat seo technique. In these technique, the websites content is shown different for the search engine and for the user, that is a single page contain two different content one for search engine and other for the user. It's violation of Google webmaster guidelines.

Cloaking is a search engine optimization technique in which the content presented to the search engine spider is different from that presented to the user's browser.
Cloaking is often used as a spamdexing technique to try to trick search engines into giving the relevant site a higher ranking. |
