try think about what YOU would look for when typing into a search engines, also look at the "frequently used phrases" that search engines often display after typing in your own keyword.

Google keyword planner is awesome, it gives you anything you need. Plus google webmasters for checking out your backlinks, google position.
Analytics is great for tracking your traffic. Google tools are awesome and you actually don't need any "professional" tool.
