Pointing to our website with the help of back-links is also useful to increase our business reputation when .edu and .gov websites point target to our websites. this may help also more when these websites have high PR.

For me, Edu or Gov links help get you better rankings, yes! but they are no better than any other well linked TLD, and remember after all SEO is not just about rankings!

.gov and .edu site are naturally more trusted than the general site!you can find the .gov and .edu sites through the footprint!

Hmmm, actually it is really hard to find sites like these nowadays, but there are still some, just be careful with linking to them because some of those might already been penalized or not indexed properly.

What we did is offer an apprenticeship/scholarship. We then distributed this to many local colleges/universities who posted it on their blogs giving us high authority do follow link
