Please check out my site and give any tips on how I could improve it and increase the amount of traffic I am getting daily

Your site seems very nice.
But you should make little change like:-
1. Try to use slider instead of one static image.
2. Remove black div from right hand sidebar.
3. If don't want to use slider then put different image on different category pages like games, news, tech etc.

Thank you for your info. I found the black div was an ad which was configured wrong.

I will be looking into a slider type option.
