You have to make the page of your website on Facebook, then invite your all friends to like that page. Do regular posting on the Facebook page with interesting information. This way you have to increase the traffic on your site.

Traffic from Facebook depends on your own network of friends because what you are posting should be visible to maximum people, then only they can know about your website and visit if they like.
Traffic will not come by simply posting anywhere.

First make a fan page and suggest that page to all of your friends they should promote page to thier friends so chain will increase that's a nice way to increase your traffic

To get traffic on Facebook you have to add more peoples to your profile. Then post your status and tag these to as much as the people you can.... Make your post attractive so you can get more number of visitors and then you will get more traffic on Facebook.
