All off page techniques are good to give rank to any website, but make sure you are using only white hat techniques and creating backlinks manually. I make use of social bookmarking, image backlinking, web 2.0, video creation and submission, podcast, infografics etc.. But my favorite is forum posting, it is really very good for getting traffic to any website.
