It is a myth behind the no follow links. Some said that they are only helpful in getting traffic but some said that they have a reasonable weightage Google assign to it....

no follow doesn't count as back link to the site from search engine but it can be helpful as an traffic generate source if it's come from high pr sites.The idea behind a nofollow link is that a search engine will not click through a link flagged as such. A nofollow link can be good or bad depending on the context of how it is utilized.

Although No follow doesn't offer SEO benefits, it looks good to have a mix of no follow and do follow.

No follow links shows the natural traffic of website. Both do follow & no follow are very important part of links for our niche.

I dont know why people are preferring dofollow links for traffic ! in my opinion, nofollows links are also important because of its gives traffic as well as good back links.

I dont think So that there is any benefit of no follow links instead of visitors other wise they never effect your ranking in search engine.
