Make a lot of friends on linked in then promote tour website there by sharing links to it.

As of yet I haven't ventured into LinkedIn. I get the impression it's a website for serious professionals and not at all like Facebook or twitter. Are the links dofollow or are you guys seriously trying to drive traffic through social media?

People say that linkedIn is a good platform to fetch traffic but i have never experienced it.
