Most hotels starved of investment resources

This guest satisfaction drum gets beaten to the point that we lose sight that hotels are a business, not a benevolent society. Currently the banks are not lending to hotels, and due to market circumstances, they have not seen a real increase in rates for many many years, in the UK at any rate.

Perhaps all these reputation management and guest satisfaction people and bloggers in particular might advise the hotels where to get the money to invest in the product, that they all say is so desperately in need of improvement.

Lets live in the real world.
