File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard Internet protocol for transmitting files between computers on the Internet over TCP/IP connections.

The most basic way of sending and receiving files over internet, FTP divides files into several segments and assigns a reference number to each one. These segments are transmitted in a sequence which the receiving computer reassembles as an exact copy of the original.

File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used to transfer computer files from one host to another host over a TCP-based network, such as the Internet. FTP is built on a client-server architecture and uses separate control and data connections between the client and the server.

FTP is the way of transfer our file to Root server/Hosting Server. FTP stands for File transfer protocol. Here we can transfer our file to other place.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the simplest but not the most secure way to exchange files over the Internet.
