Micro analysis. At this level, the use of the analyis can be done with your own data or a subset of the social data that one may have access to. This may provide answers to recommendations based on your tastes or the tastes of your friends, or at the level of understanding for each of the communities found in a large social network, how those communities influence other communities, or how people in each community interact and become influencers of their peers.
