Google Bots cannot process images on the web. Therefore, it makes use of the alt attributes to understand what an image is all about.
The Image Alt text is generally considered as the title of an image, which provides a textual alternative to the web crawlers to index the web page bearing the image. Properly phrased alt tags can increase the SEO ranking of your website’s images in Google images search results, as they tend to add more value to the user experience.
