Their is no direct answer to this question. Whereas for my website I have experienced, if your social media post gets like and shared by your target audience than yes it does helps to increase the ranking in Google SERP.

Yes, To Some Extent Social Media Helps Ranking in the Search Engines Like Google. But Apart from that a lot of traffic will be driven to the website.

Yes , but mostly it used to get traffic towards website and leads.

i had a website when i launched it i havent done seo yet and i havnt had a good traffic but when i started publishing the link in twitter and facebook the traffic increased by 10% so social media are good for traffic and not for backlinks

Social media really helps you..bcz once if your doing good the visitor will come through your website when website traffic is increasing search engine will help to push the ranking obviously.thanks!!
