Instagram is not good for SEO per se. Even though Instagram introduced places, a feed of pictures by users with your location, the content is not crawlable. What's worse is there is no Alt text either which slows rendering of the page it's put on.
I would test by creating a tab on your Facebook page. See what influence that has in addition to Ian's suggestions.
